HIV Testing Set for This Week

Abstract
Peer Educators of San Antonio College will sponsor free HIV testing from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on October 25 and 26 in Room 101 of the college’s nursing complex. A nonprofit community-based organization, Hope Action Care, will offer test materials and administer the tests, which will be conducted in private. The test is an oral swab test called OraQuick that requires no needles; results are available in 15 minutes. Hope Action Care will provide information on HIV prevention. Mariana Solis of Peer Educators urges anyone who is sexually active to get tested. Call Peer Educators at (210) 486-1448 for more information.
