A lawsuit involving hundreds of individuals who had to be vaccinated after eating at a Fayetteville Olive Garden restaurant last year has been settled, with those being immunized eligible for payments of up to $250. A $375,000 fund has been set up by the restaurant’s parent company, GMRI, Inc., to settle the class-action lawsuit, although GMRI denied any wrongdoing. Hundreds of individuals received vaccinations after learning that one of the restaurant’s employees had tested positive for hepatitis. The lawsuit had alleged the restaurant had exposed customers to the virus, cost them wages and incurred medical expenses, as well as caused fear and physical pain.
