UCSD Fraternity Spearheads Viral Hepatitis Awareness Campaign

Abstract
Members of the Psi Chi Omega fraternity at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) have committed to raising awareness about the spread of viral hepatitis by teaming up with the nonprofit group “Viral Hepatitis Foundation” to use social media to educate about the spread of what is being termed a “generational disease.” According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), about 4.5 million Americans are infected with a form of viral hepatitis and the majority of them do not know it.
