Sharon Stone Checked Out Before Milan Auction

Abstract
On Saturday, September 22, hours after a brief trip to a hospital during Milan Fashion Week, actress Sharon Stone helped raise more than $1.1 million (€846,000) for AIDS research at a charity auction. The amfAR Foundation for AIDS Research said in a statement that Ms. Stone experienced migraine-related symptoms after a fashion runway show Saturday night. She was subsequently examined as a precaution and was given a clean bill of health. Stone was still able to attract high bids at the charity auction that evening. The foundation noted that the majority of the money it raises is used for research to find a cure for AIDS
