New Name for SF HIV Research Section

Abstract
The San Francisco Department of Public Health’s HIV Research Section announced recently that it is changing its name to Bridge HIV. It also is moving to expanded research and clinical facilities on the first floor of 25 Van Ness Avenue, as part of a project awarded a National Institutes of Health grant. The new name helps to distinguish Bridge HIV from the larger HIV prevention research field, as well as to reflect its history of collaboration on prevention efforts with diverse communities in the Bay Area and globally, the department said in a statement.
