New Website Tackles Chicago LGBT Substance Abuse

Abstract
The Chicago Task Force on LGBT Substance Use/Abuse has launched a website featuring resources for social service providers, as well as community members who wish to access help. The site includes links to the facts about various substances, self-assessments for users, and wellness and health resources. The task force, whose web content committee created the site entirely with volunteers’ services, is in talks with the Alder School of Professional Psychology’s LGBT program to have students maintain and enhance it.
