Ryan Braun Is Helping Raise Money to Fight AIDS Abstract Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers has been named the honorary chair of AIDS Walk Wisconsin 2012. In a statement, the National League MVP said he is proud to do whatever he can to raise AIDS awareness and support. This year’s walk takes place on Oct. 6 in Milwaukee. AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin uses the money raised to assist the nearly 6,600 state residents living with HIV. In its 22 years, the event has brought in more than $10.5 million.
