Abstract
By year’s end, the number of persons with HIV/AIDS in China is expected to reach 740,000, Hao Yang, deputy director of the nation’s disease prevention and control bureau, said today. This year, China recorded 45,000 new HIV/AIDS patients, and 26,000 deaths were attributed to the disease.
