Black Clergy Sounds the AIDS Alarm

Abstract
Today in Detroit, African-American clergy members in the National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS are convening a meeting of community leaders at Laborer’s Union Local 1191. The commission is asking Congress to pass the National Black Clergy for the Elimination of HIV/AIDS Act of 2009, which was introduced in April and seeks to bolster the fight against the disease in communities like Detroit.
