Social Marketing and Education Campaigns
The National HIV/AIDS Strategy (NHAS) calls for us to utilize evidence-based social marketing and education campaigns to educate and engage the public about how HIV is transmitted and to reduce misperceptions about HIV transmission. The NHAS encourages outreach and engagement through traditional media (radio, television, and print) and networked media (such as online health sites, search providers, social media, and mobile applications).
