8th International Summer School: STOP AIDS
Description
This school is intended for representatives of nongovernmental organisations and of other organisations with basic knowledge of reproductive health, including the knowledge of HIV/AIDS. It is desirable for participants to be youth leaders with ambitions and possibilities of getting a peer education programme started in their own settings, and of improving existing ones by introducing new facts and methods into their programme. Except for peer education, the programme covers the managerial (organisational) aspect, as well as advocacy and lobbying programme regarding reproductive health and rights. We expect the response of youth leaders with an ambition to change and improve the setting they come from, to exchange experiences with people outside their own countries who are already engaged in the field of reproductive health. The School is not designed in the direction of creating new peer educators, nor for improving the ones already working in peer education, but for the representatives of the organisations. |
