Since its inception in 2000, the campaign has been nominated for Best Advertising Campaign by GLAAD (Gay Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation), and received a Webby Award for Best Health Website. HIV STOPS WITH ME (HSWM) is a multifaceted national social marketing campaign that aims to prevent the spread of HIV while also reducing the stigma associated with the disease. The campaign hub is the website www.HIVSTOPSWITHME.org where people can engage with the spokesmodels, read about issues related to HIV/AIDS, and learn about local services and events. The campaign is currently running in New York City, Buffalo, Virginia, and Maryland.
